Your heart is the depth of yourself and the height of your ideal. Your heart smiles in loving acceptance at the irritations of life, and it's your heart that brings people together in harmonious alignment. Your heart gives you guidance and the courage to follow it, and your heart is your refuge and inner temple of renewal.

Best of all, your heart is always accessible, always listening and always speaking to you. When you feel your heart within you, joy arises without reason. But when you can feel you are within your heart, your whole world is transformed.

What is a Living Heart?

There are five aspects of a Living Heart:

  1. Learn to live in a way that is healthy for your physical heart.
  2. The emotional heart is sensitive and has been wounded many times. Heal the emotions of your heart so that you can be both receptive and expressive.
  3. Call upon the power of your heart in the practical concerns of your life, to enhance your creativity, cooperation and courage and ultimately fulfill the purpose of your life.
  4. Worship is a celebration of making the invisible, experiential. Your heart is the container that allows you to experience the unity of the physical, emotional and spiritual realms. Experience that while your heart is within you, you are also within a Heart that holds us all.
  5. Our relationships are a major part of our heart practice. Every relationship contributes to and expresses our relationship to the divine. Produce close and meaningful relationships of inclusion.

All of these aspects of a Living Heart, integrated together, is what is needed today to create a Culture of the Heart. In this weekend seminar, we will focus a three-hour session on each aspect of a Living Heart, with the following topics:

1. Physical Heart Health
Enjoy Heart Rhythm Meditation and decrease your blood pressure and stress, increase circulation and physical energy, and improve your Heart Rate Variability and immune function. 2. Healing a Wounded Heart

5. The Art of Relationships
Maintaining a close, loving, deeply meaningful relationship is one of the most challenging aspects of life today. It is an essentially spiritual task, requiring a Living Heart. The IAM Relationship Process will lead you through five steps; each step will advance your relationship further to levels of intimacy, vulnerability and mutual support that are extraordinary. The types of disputes that typically aggravate couples will be resolved as by-products of your heart-work with this process.
