How is Spiritual Heart Health Achieved?
First, by the experience of the unlimited aspect of yourself
and all that is. We practice
Heart Rhythm Meditation with the four
subtle energies which permeate all of life and through which we
can experience the infinite, perfect and eternal self.
Then we ground these energies in our psyches and bodies, as
instruments for our use. Finally, we dedicate all that we have
fashioned to the unique purpose for which we have come into life.
Experiencing the Unlimited
At IAM, we use the four subtle energies that correspond to the four states
of matter: solid, liquid, plasma and gas. These energies are called by the
traditional names - Earth, Water, Fire and Air, and we refer to them
together as the "Four Elements of the Heart".
Using specific breaths and
sounds, we develop these energies and direct them through the heart,
resulting in an expansion of the heart in four dimensions, as shown in the
Emotional Model of the Heart.
Awakening the Living Heart
To achieve Spiritual Heart Health you can
consciously and deliberately draw your pure essence
into manifestation, the way light is focused into a pattern
of colors and intensities.
From the source of the four subtle energies, you can fashion
your heart, mind and body as instruments, overcoming the
distortions that have inevitably crept into these forms.
We have practices and exercises that can build a healthy body,
a clear mind and a noble character, the product of a Living Heart.
Dedication to Your Purpose
Every soul is born for a purpose, and the light of that purpose is
kindled in their heart.
Though the mind may have forgotten the mission of life, the
heart remembers always. When you meditate on your heart, you find
your sense of purpose that was waiting to be discovered and
pursued. No one else but yourself can know your purpose, which
is yours alone. Progress toward the fulfillment of this purpose is the
greatest source of happiness in life.
