IAM Local Classes

At local IAM centers, we are offering three classes, each in a 8-week format:

Physical Heart Health, Emotional Heart Health, and Spiritual Heart Health.

Our advantage at IAM is that these three aspects of total health are always addressed at the same time. Physical heart health requires emotional heart health, and emotional heart health requires spiritual heart health. Heart Rhythm Meditation is the only meditation that works at all three levels!

Principles

HRM coordinates your body's internal rhythms, producing synchronization of the heartbeat, breath and brainwaves. Full breath expands the body's capacity for stress. Attention on heart activates immune system and builds concentration.

HRM makes the connection between the mind and heart, so that your emotions become understandable and your desires conscious. Balance of left & right emotions yields peace. Depth of emotions gives empathy and connectedness.

The Heart is seen as a single faculty shared among all people. The heart of every person is seen as the dwelling place of Perfection, as the inner and outer worlds reflect each other. Purpose arises from the heart's memory. Progress is tracked thru map of the steps.

Results

A lowered and rhythmic heart rate benefits cardiac health and increases circulation.

Stress-induced problems like high-blood pressure, chronic pain and headaches are eliminated.

The immune response is improved by stimulating the Thymus gland.

Weight-loss occurs from increased metabolic rate due to full breathing.

Full breath also increases the lungs' Vital Capacity to overcome shortness of breath.

Sleep is improved by passive-volition training.

The clumping of red blood cells is relieved, for improved nutrition and reduced stroke risk.

We will also be testing for reduced HS-CRP levels, a test for inflammation of the arteries.

The power of your heart is harnessed to your goals.

Breathing balances the hemispheres of the brain, integrating the emotional highs and lows.

A stronger emotional heart reduces anxiety and fear and creates self-confidence which counters depression.

Closeness to others is developed through contemplation of their hearts.

Guilt and resentment are used only for self-motivation, without narrowing the heart.

Happiness beyond pleasure and joy beyond reason comes from the depth of your heart.

Idealism and optimism return as the height of the heart is restored.

HRP increases the magnetic field of the heart, expanding your influence.
