The Master of Applied Meditation degree brings this philosophy to life by developing the student's body, mind, and heart.
The University of the Heart, IAM-U, will offer a two-year, post-graduate program to explore the heart of humanity, the greatness of your own heart, and the relationship between the two. This will not be limited to a study of concepts; it will offer you a profound experience of the subtle energy that flows through all hearts and how you can harness this energy to improve your health, relationships, and purposeful accomplishments.
The Master's degree is comparable in rigor and difficulty to other fields such as psychology, mathematics, or biology, but offers the student a unique opportunity to pursue a truly integrative education. The end result is an individual with the tools to achieve and maintain excellent physical health, who has accumulated the general and specific knowledge necessary to appreciate and take part in the ongoing human conversation in the arts and sciences; who has developed a strong, dynamic sense of rhythmic peace, an understanding of their emotions and the energy of the heart, and has an ability to use that energy to effect change both within and without.
We are committed to securing accreditation for this breakthrough program as a Master's degree. You will receive through your work at IAM-U the training and experience that will take your career to an extraordinary level in education, psychology, patient care, management, finance, art or chaplaincy. How can one degree have such a broad applicability? Because you'll be working with the six Basic Powers, the four subtle energies and the 7 energy repositories, and applying them to every heart's desire. You'll be able to recognize in yourself and others the 12 archetypes of the soul, the 4 dimensions of the heart, and the 9 steps along the path of adult development. You'll be adept at helping a person heal their heart of its wounds and their ego of distortions to develop a noble and magnanimous character.

The two year program will include 8 courses in the science of mysticism, 24 seminars in evidence-based spirituality, 2 one-week group retreats, 24 mentoring sessions, a 7-day private retreat of the heart, numerous written and experiential tests and a final project. Your graduation will be celebrated throughout the IAM community as a rare accomplishment and preparation for your leadership in the emerging culture of the heart.
