five professional and spiritual careers. So far, IAM has been focused
on the role of the mentor, and has created one of the finest
programs in mentoring available anywhere.
We are inspired by Hazrat Inayat Khan who devised an organization with four
branches, and we are committed to his vision of preparing people for four
careers that express a modern spiritual life: mentors, celebrants, healers
and leaders. A fifth role is central to these four: teacher. It is our
intention at IAM to offer a training program and certification in each of
these five areas, leading to a professional career.

Holistic Education |
The IAM Teacher represents the message of the heart and
presents the methods by which the heart can be healed,
strengthened and applied for practical results. Heart Rhythm Practice is a
comprehensive discipline similar in complexity and depth to
homeopathy or chiropractic, and just beginning to emerge as a
profession. The IAM Teacher can teach the IAM curriculum, level 1 and
2, to groups in their own setting, or for IAM, if so chosen. This
certification would be valuable for teaching in other spiritual
schools, in education generally, and for opening a local IAM
Center. |
Psychological and Spiritual Mentor |
The IAM Mentor helps individual clients use the wisdom of
their hearts to guide their development toward illumination and
their lives toward their purpose. The mentor also guides
students in the IAM College of the Heart along their career
path. The Mentor is eligible to be hired by IAM to mentor its
students. This certification can also be used in a private
therapy practice, and in life coaching. |
Energy Healing |
The IAM Energy Healer uses the power of the heart to regenerate
tissue and restore rhythm and circulation in the bodies of individual
patients. We use a scientific method that conclusively demonstrates the
ability to regenerate tissue. |
Organizational Leadership |
The IAM Organizational Leader represents the heart of an
organization, spreading the guidance and courage of the heart throughout
the organization and becoming the Axis of its transformation. The IAM
Leader would be prepared to lead a team in business or any
organization. |
Celebrant of the Heart |
The IAM Celebrant leads a group in the recognition and celebration
of the Heart of All through life transitions and in regular periods of
worship, and leads individuals in private spiritual retreats. |
