Bonnie Colbie, PhD, finds Heart Rhythm Meditation an indispensable tool for creating positive change in relationships, organizations and communities. Bonnie is deeply honored to be teaching others this method. She began meditating regularly as a college student, and has practiced meditation under the guidance of senior teachers for over 25 years.

Bonnie works with meditation students to apply Heart Rhythm Practices to meet their everyday challenges, to accomplish their goals and to fulfill their ideals for their own lives and for the world. She finds that complex and difficult situations can be improved through meditative practices, that we can have a greater influence on the world than the world has on us.

Dr. Colbie has been a university professor since 1983, specializing in water resource management and environmental policy. She is the author of six books on these topics and has worked with dozens of governments, businesses and non-profit organizations concerned with resource conservation, conflict resolution and environmental justice. She appreciates the enhanced optimism, vitality and creative problem-solving that Heart Rhythm Meditation brings to her work.
